Jefferson Parish sheriff's deputies are investigating a fatal shooting in Avondale.
Col. John Fortunato said in a news release deputies arrived at a home on Pat Drive at 8:18 p.m. Sunday and found an unidentified man in the driveway suffering from multiple gunshot wounds.
Fortunato says the victim was pronounced dead at the scene.
He says investigators found bullet casings several feet away from the victim's body.
Fortunato says detectives have not established a motive or suspects.
