LAKE CHARLES, La. (AP) - A 19-year-old man suspected in a June shooting death at a Lake Charles apartment complex has been indicted on a charge of second-degree murder.
Authorities charged Cody Ray Lucero in the June 8 slaying of 18-year-old Edward Lee Wilkes.
Lucero was arrested at a motel in Kinder on June 9. Lucero is being held in the Calcasieu Correctional Center on $1 million bond.
