St. Mary Parish Sheriff's Office Daily Arrest Report

According to St. Mary Parish Sheriff Mark Hebert, during the last 24 hour reporting period the Sheriff's Office responded to 49 complaints and reports the following arrests:

Moises Felipe Stratton, 36, 866 Parish Road, Franklin, LA was arrested on August 1, 2013 at 11:10 am on a warrant for second degree battery and on warrants for 40 counts of issuing worthless checks. Stratton was located and taken into custody at a business on Hwy. 317. The warrant for second degree battery stems from an investigation into a complaint of a battery received on July 6, 2013. The battery occurred at a residence on the Patterson area. The deputy learned that Stratton repeatedly struck a female victim breaking bones in her face. At the time of the incident, the victim was transported to Teche Regional Medical Center for treatment. Stratton was transported to the parish jail for booking and incarceration. No bond is set.

Arthur Jack, 18, 1158 Highway 83, Ashton, LA was arrested on August 1, 2013 at 12:12 pm for theft and on warrants for simple battery, simple criminal damage to property, and failure to appear on the charge of simple assault and simple criminal damage to property. A detective investigating the theft of scrap metal from a farm in Ashton developed Jack as a suspect. Jack came in to the St. Mary parish Sheriff's Office in Franklin in reference to the investigation. He was subsequently arrested and transported to the parish jail for booking and incarceration. No bond is set. This is the third arrest in this case. The investigation is ongoing.

Juvenile male, 11, Franklin was arrested on August 1, 2013 at 2:01 pm on a warrant for simple criminal damage to property. The juvenile was located at a residence in the Franklin area. The warrant stems from an investigation into the spray painting of a mailbox and signs. He was released to a guardian pending juvenile court proceedings.

April Aucoin, 33, 148 Cremo Lane, Patterson, LA was arrested on August 1, 2013 at 8:01 pm for simple assault and on a warrant from Golden Meadow Police Department for contempt of court, speeding, and obscured windshield of a motor vehicle.

Sheree Martin, 30, 152 Cremo Lane, Patterson, LA was arrested on August 1, 2013 at 8:01 pm for simple battery. A deputy responded to a complaint of a disturbance on Cremo Lane. Upon arrival, the deputy observed three female subjects arguing in the roadway. During the course of the investigation, the deputy made contact with two of the subjects identified as Aucoin and Martin. During a verbal argument, Aucoin threatened Martin and Martin pushed Aucoin. Both were transported to the parish jail for booking and incarceration. Martin's bond is set at $500. No bond is set for Aucoin.

Albert Williams, Jr., 58, 1420 Burney Lane, Patterson, LA was arrested on warrants for failure to obey a traffic control signal, driving under suspension, and failure to appear on for stop sign and seatbelt violations. A deputy patrolling the Amelia area conducted a traffic stop and made contact with Williams who haled active warrants for his arrest. Williams was transported to the parish jail for booking and incarceration. He was released on a $5,318.0 bond.
