NEW ORLEANS (AP) - The Louisiana Supreme Court has appointed an attorney to temporarily serve as an Orleans Parish Traffic Court judge.
The high court announced Tuesday that Michael C. Darnell will fill the vacancy left by the retirement of Judge Ronald Sholes.
Darnell will serve from Aug. 1 through the end of 2013, or until the vacancy is filled.
Darnell was a partner at the Adams and Reese law firm before becoming a partner in the law firm Murray, Darnell & Associates.
