Lafayette Regional Airport says activity at the airport in July was the second-best on record for the month. Airport officials say a total of over 41,000 passengers boarded flights or deplaned at the facility. Airport Commission Chairman Paul Guilbeau says this record comes despite bad weather and a reduction in available seats on flights.
