After a plethora of departures, St. Thomas More will be starting anew in 2012. The Cougars return just 3 starters from last year's quarterfinalist squad but one of the returnees, Brandon Bergeron, is one of the main reasons that STM believes it won't have a dropoff this year. Bergeron enters this third year behind center and for the first time won't share time at quarterback. While there are many unknowns on this year's edition of the Cougars, having a signal caller in place like Bergeron will keep STM in the always tough 5-4A race.
