(St. Martinville, La)- The St. Martin Parish Sheriff's Office will be offering Hunter Education Classes in September and October on the following dates: September 28, 2013 from 8:00 a.m.-4:00
p.m. & September 29, 2013 from 8:00-11:00 a.m. and October 19, 2013 from 8:00 a.m.-4:00 p.m. & October 20 8:00 a.m.-11:00 a.m.
There is no fee to attend these classes, however, pre-registration is required and there is a limit of fifty students per class. To register please call (337) 394-2665. All hunters born on or after September 1, 1969, must attend this training in order to hunt in the State of Louisiana. Anyone under the age of ten is welcome to attend the class; however, they will NOT receive a Hunters Education Certificate or Hunter Ed card.
