LAFAYETTE - As students head back to school, the Acadiana Press Club welcomes area school superintendents to share their ideas and challenges for the 2013-14 academic year. Participating in this month's Newsmaker Forum are Lafayette Parish Superintendent Pat Cooper, Iberia Parish Superintendent Dale Henderson, St. Martin Parish Superintendent Lottie Beebe, Vermilion Parish Superintendent Jerome Puyau and Acadia Parish Superintendent John Bourque.
The lunch forum and membership in the Acadiana Press Club are open to journalists, media professionals, public relations professionals, public information officers, communication professors and students, retired journalists, civic and political leaders and the general public.
The Acadiana Press Club hosts public lunch meetings on the third Monday of each month. Only members of the working media and Acadiana Press Club members may ask questions during the forum. Guests must RSVP by Thursday, August 15.*
