The Imani Temple #49 is celebrating its 20th Anniversary with a "Burst of Imani" Gospel Extravaganza on Saturday, August 10, 2013 at 6:30 p.m. This event will provide Imani (Faith)
based inspirational entertainment consisting of gospel singers, choirs, gospel comedy, poetry, praise dance, mime, and more. The extravaganza is free to the public and refreshments will be provided; doors open at 5:30. Monetary donations are requested to support its community outreach programs. Today the church held a ribbon cutting ceremony for a community garden and tonight there will be a revival with Archbishop Stallings, Jr. from Washington D.C. at Imani Temple #49 at 6:30 P.M.
