DALLAS (AP) - Authorities in the Dallas area say a series of shootings have killed at least four people and wounded others, but that a suspect is in custody.
Dallas police Sgt. Warren Mitchell told media outlets that police were called to a home Wednesday night where they found four gunshot victims, two of whom had died.
Mitchell says the suspect in that shooting fled to nearby DeSoto, where he was involved in another shooting.
DeSoto police Cpl. Melissa Franks says four other people were shot at the second location, with two of them dying.
Franks says police took the suspect into custody at the scene of the second shooting. Authorities say the suspect is a male but haven't released any other information about him.
