Three Crowley teens are accused of stealing a vehicle early Monday morning.
"We received a call from the victim stating that his vehicle was missing from his driveway. As our officers were filing the report with the victim, we received information that the vehicle was near the area of Duson Park" stated Chief KP Gibson.
Officers then located the vehicle which was traveling in the area. The suspects then led officers on a pursuit, which ended near the Highway 90 bridge between Crowley and Rayne. "Officers were able to take all occupants into custody at the scene" stated Chief Gibson.
Arrested were:
Gregory K. Winbush, Jr., 17, Crowley: He has been booked into the Acadia Parish Jail for theft of a motor vehicle, aggravated flight, resisting arrest and PWITD Marijuana.
Rondell Ledet, 17, Crowley: He has been booked into the Acadia Parish Jail for theft of a motor vehicle, resisting arrest and resisting by failure to identify.
Juvenile, 16, Crowley: Theft of a motor vehicle and resisting by flight.
