The Franklin Police Department responded to 47 complaints over this past weekend, and made the following arrests:
8/2/13 @ 8:40 AM, Gary Phillips, 50, of James St., Franklin, LA, was arrested on two warrants for 16th Judicial District Court both for Failure To Appear For Revocation on the charges of Criminal Neglect Of Family. Phillips was processed and held on a $15,788.53 bond.
8/2/13 @ 10:25 AM, Third Ward City Marshals arrested Lorenza Welch, Jr., 20, of Blakesley St., Franklin, LA, was arrested on a warrant for Third Ward City Court for Failure To Appear on the charge of No Drivers License. Welch was processed and released on a $210.00 bond.
8/2/13 @ 1:43 PM, Lela Coleman, 42, of Fifth St., Franklin, LA, was arrested and charged with Disturbing The Peace By Fighting. Coleman was processed and held on a $250.00 bond.
8/2/13 @ 3:07 PM, A'shylyn Coleman, 19, of Fifth St., Franklin, LA, was arrested and charged with Disturbing The Peace By Fighting. Coleman was processed and held on a $250.00 bond.
8/3/13 @ 11:03 AM, Charity Isaac, 34, of Willow St., Franklin, LA, was arrested and charged with Simple Battery. Isaac was processed and released on a $500.00 bond.
8/3/13 @ 8:18 PM, Terry Levine, 30, of Bigler St., Franklin, LA, was arrested on a warrant for Jeanerette charging him with Violation Of Protective Order. Levine was processed and released to the Jeanerette Police Department.
8/4/13 @ 6:47 PM, Mitchell Guilbeau, 18, of Seventh St., Franklin, LA, was arrested and charged with Unauthorized Use Of A Moveable. Guilbeau was also arrested on warrants for Lafayette City Court charging him with Theft, Failure To Yield, Failure To Secure A Drivers License, and Hit and Run. Guilbeau was processed and held with no bond at the time of press release.
