Youngsville city officials will hold a ribbon cutting ceremony Thursday to reopen Chemin Metarie Parkway. Construction crews have been working since December to resurface and widen the road. The ceremony will be held at Youngsville City Hall at 11:30 Thursday morning. Governor Bobby Jindal and other dignitaries are expected to be in attendance.
