On Sunday, August 11, 2013, 100 Black Men of Greater Lafayette will host "Stuff A Backpack" in conjunction with the 11th Annual "Kuts for Kids," hosted by the Upsilon Rho Chapter of Omega Psi Phi fraternity. The event will take place at Blue Cliff College Lafayette Campus, located at 120 James Comeaux Rd, from 10 a.m. - 3 p.m.
The project's mission is to give back to the community by providing free haircuts and school supplies to boys & girls ages 5 -14. The "Kuts for Kids" event started in 2003 to help families in need get their kids prepared for school with free haircuts and it now has grown into a school
supply giveaway with the 100 Black Men of Greater Lafayette partnership along with Glenn Armentor Law Corporation and Cox Communications.
Event goers will not only enjoy free haircuts, but also face painting, free food, free blood pressure monitoring and
chair massage.
