The sentencing for a Carencro man who pleaded guilty in May to negligent homicide in connection with a 2009 hit-and-run has been pushed back to September.
According to court documents, a district court judge continued Shannon Miller's sentencing to September 5. He was originally scheduled to learn his fate Tuesday.
Miller struck and killed Benjamin Lewis in September 2009 near the corner of Fortune Road and LA 339. Miller drove away from the scene and was caught nearly a month later.
