Lafayette Police are investigate a shooting at 12th Street and Simcoe that took place around 11:00 am Saturday. According to witnesses, the suspects drove by the funeral home and fired multiple shots in the direction of the building from the vehicle. The vehicle was then seen leaving the area. Police say no one was injured.
Lafayette Police were able to stop a vehicle meeting the description of the suspects and currently are interviewing the occupants of that vehicle. The motive for the shooting is unknown at this time. The investigation remains ongoing.
