St. Martinville Police are asking for the public's helping in finding a missing teen. 18-year-old Dylon Boudreaux was least seen Tuesday evening around five o'clock. Police say he was wearing a black suit and black fedora, and was seen walking along Main Street in front of St. Martinville High School.
Family and friends said they never saw his disappearance coming.
"It's a hardship we never imagined, we just want him to come back," said Dylon's father, Jeremy Boudreaux, fighting back tears.
His parents, Sonya and Jeremy Boudreaux, are desperate to get their son back.
"Dylon, if you're listening out there we're standing here as one family and we love you and we're just needing you to come home, and you have many people worried, so get back over here boy," said Sonya. "We love you, truly, everybody," added Jeremy.
Police said Dylon left his home Tuesday without his cell phone. They're asking for anyone who has seen him to contact Police.
Chief Paula Smith said there are phone and Facebook messages from Dylon, simply saying, "That he had things to do and he just said goodbye."
Police don't suspect foul play or suicide but are treating it as a missing persons case.
"We're just concerned about his whereabouts. We'd like to know and the family would like to know where he's at now," said Chief Smith.
They're hoping Dylon himself, or someone else, will let them know where he is.
Dylon recently graduate from St. Martinville High School as the salutatorian of his class. He was also very active in theater and was planning on going into the U.S. Air Force.
