A Lafayette man is in jail and accused of burning a vacant home in his own neighborhood in March 2011. Anthony Taylor, 26, is charged with two counts of simple arson. Investigators say Taylor set ablaze an unoccupied home in the 600 block of Walker Road. Several homes in the area have since been set ablaze. The last fire took place on June 23. Fire officials are still investigating the rash of fires.
