Acadiana residents are known for their love of hunting, but two Lafayette natives recently took part in a hunt of a different sort. Bob and Ginger Bourg were involved in a week-long dinosaur dig in New Mexico as part of a paleontology field discovery class at Mesalands Community College. The couple learned about the class after visiting the Mesalands Dinosaur Museum a few years ago. The Bourgs searched and learned how to excavate fossils and how to determine the age of their discoveries.
