NEW ORLEANS (AP) - A double shooting in New Orleans has left one man dead and another injured.
Officer Garry Flot tells The Times-Picayune the shooting was reported about 9 a.m. Tuesday in the 1900 block of Feliciana Street.
John Gagliano, the Orleans Parish coroner's chief investigator, says one of the victims was pronounced dead at Interim LSU Public Hospital at 9:24 a.m. The man's identity and age were not immediately available. Authorities said the second victim was in surgery at the hospital.
Police have not released any information on a suspect or motive.
