Electric crews from Louisiana are headed to the Northeast as residents there prepare for Hurricane Sandy. Entergy is sending 305 linemen to the region, including 115 from Louisiana, to assist in the power restoration effort along the Northeast Corridor. Cleco is also sending some of its employees to assist in restoration efforts in Maryland. Hurricane Sandy is expected to make landfall later tonight and could affect 50 million people.
