The Iberia Parish Sheriff's Office was notified by Staff at Jeanerette Sr. High School shortly after 10:00 a.m. on October 19, 2012 that an unknown person had phoned in a bomb threat at the High School. Deputies with the Iberia Parish Sheriff's Office along with the Iberia Parish Fire District are on scene assessing the situation. Students have been evacuated from the building as firefighters and deputies are presently conducting a search.
