LAFAYETTE, La. (AP) - Detectives have arrested a second man in the stabbing death of 24-year-old Michael Luke Darby, whose body was found Monday afternoon in downtown Lafayette.
The Advertiser reports (http://bit.ly/WIU399 ) 35-year-old Travis Toups, of Carencro, was arrested Wednesday and charged with accessory after the fact to second-degree murder.
Police say his brother, 26-year-old Kyle Toups, was arrested earlier Wednesday in Texas and charged with second-degree murder. He is accused of fatally stabbing Darby during a disturbance early Sunday morning.
Mouton is not sure when Kyle Toups will be extradited back to Louisiana.
The case remains under investigation.
