DOTD announced today that Ambassador Caffery (La. 3073) and Johnston Street (U.S. 167) will be reduced to one lane in the southbound and northbound directions beginning Monday, October 22, and continue for approximately two weeks, weather permitting.
The work will involve reducing traffic on Ambassador Caffery (La. 3073) to one lane in the southbound direction, beginning at Ridge Road (La. 93) to Tucker Drive. Traffic turning from Ambassador Caffery in the northbound direction onto Johnston Street (U.S. 167) in the southbound direction will also be reduced to one lane. Traffic traveling southbound from Johnston Street onto Ambassador Caffery in the southbound direction will also be reduced to one lane.
No detour is needed for this project, but motorists can expect delays during construction and are encouraged to use an alternate route.
