Edited Football Photo Stir Up Controversy at LSU

LSU is considering a policy change after they chose to digitally erase crosses painted on fans at an LSU football.

"It was just a straight sports communications message," said Herb Vincent of LSU tells WBRZ, "no politics involved, no religion."

The iconic Tiger fans known as the "Painted Posse" were photographed cheering on the Tigers at Tiger Stadium, but when the picture was distributed by the university to fans, the small cross painted on their chests was removed.

Now, LSU officials say they will use pictures that don't need to have religious icons erased.
