BATON ROUGE, La. (AP) - The Southern University Law Center has the most diverse faculty among any law school in the country. That's according to the Princeton Review, an education services company.
The Advocate reports the law center is featured in the Princeton Review's 2013 edition of "The Best 168 Law Schools."
The book doesn't include a single hierarchical rating of schools from 1 to 168, but instead lists the top 10 law schools in various categories, including "Most Diverse Faculty," in which Southern University Law Center earned the top spot.
Southern University Law Center's Chancellor Freddie Pitcher Jr. said in a statement he wasn't surprised by the rankings.
Southern's law school is one of 59 schools in the book that appear on one or more lists.
