At this hour, a SWAT team is moving into a house in Welsh where a suspect who ran from State Police could be hiding. This afternoon, the man wouldn't pull over when State Police tried to pull him over for a traffic violation. He then led troopers on a pursuit and stopped in the area of Prudhomme St. And Martin Luther King St., said Sgt. James Anderson. Troopers believe he could be in one of two homes. Originally, troopers thought he was in one house. Residents have been told to stay in their homes.
