A downtown Lafayette road will be closed later this week for the upcoming Strut Your Mutt event. Lafayette Consolidated Government officials say Polk Street between Vermilion and Congress Streets will be shut down beginning Friday morning at 9:00 until 2:00 Saturday afternoon. Detour routes will be made available.
