A Breaux Bridge man is charged with rape and kidnapping after deputies say his victim was able to escape. 41-year old Benton Frank Gray, also known as Gus, was booked into the St. Martin Parish jail on a $500,000 bond. Deputies say the attack happened shortly after 9:00 p.m. last night at the victim's house and continued until early this morning when she was able to escape and contact police.
