St. Mary Parish sheriff's deputies are searching for three men accused of robbing two others at gunpoint. The incident took place just after 1:00 Monday afternoon in the 1400 block of Lake Palourde Road. Deputies say three men drove up to two men who were buying alligators at the site. The victims told deputies the two men got out of the car, pulled a gun, and forced them to the ground before stealing two cell phones and a briefcase containing $6500 in cash. The victims were not injured.
The first suspect is described as a black male wearing a blue bandana over his face, blue jeans, and a hat. The second suspect is described as a white male wearing a blue bandana over his face and blue jeans. The driver of the car is described only as a black male.
