HOUMA, La. (AP) - Terrebonne Parish sheriff's deputies say a Houma mother and son have been arrested after using credit cards not issued to them.
Deputies say they begin received reports late last month from residents of other states complaining the address on their bank accounts had changed to a Terrebonne Parish address without their approval.
The Courier reports detectives arrested Phyllis Autin, and her son, Claude Autin Jr., on Tuesday.
Detectives said the mother and son allegedly charged more than $20,000 to the cards.
They were booked with three counts each of unauthorized use of a credit card over $500. They remain in Terrebonne Parish Jail on $10,000 bonds.
It was unclear whether they have attorneys.
