A Lafayette man accused of robbing and killing a cab driver for less than $100 has been found guilty. Aaron Francois was accused of shooting and killing Lafayette taxi-cab driver, Wallace "Wally" Badeaux on February 23, 2009. Today a jury found Francois guilty of armed robbery and Second Degree Felony Murder.
Meanwhile, charges are still pending for Kevin Guildhouse, another suspect arrested in this case. Guildhouse is charged with murder and aggravated escape.
