After an injury plagued 2011, Lafayette High hopes it can a big jump in 2012. The Mighty Lions will rely on a strong offensive line and stout linebacking corp to lead the way this season. Lafayette returns three starters on the O-Line as well as tight end Jordan Beasley. The line will look to grate the path for new running backs and defensive converts Aaron Woods and Waylon Simoneaux. The defense will be led by linebackers Davin Andrus and Chase Harrison. Defensive backs Damian Morgan and Jalon Comeaux round out the notables for the Mighty Lions on defense.
