An off-duty reserve deputy city marshal helped nab a man who police say pulled a knife on a bar employee. The incident took place early Wednesday morning in downtown Lafayette. According to Lafayette police, Bryan Guidry pulled the knife as he was being escorted out of the bar. Other employees alerted the deputy, Brandon Hargrave, who happened to be in the bar at the time. Police say Hargrave chased down Guidry and held him until police arrived. Nobody was injured during the incident. Guidry is charged with aggravated assault.
