According to Vermilion Parish Sheriff Mike Couvillon, four people have been arrested and booked into the Vermilion Parish Correctional Center as a result of an early morning Armed Robbery which took place at Maxie Pierce Grocery in Intracoastal City early this morning.
Sheriff Couvillon says that at approximately 5:15am this morning, the Sheriff's Office received a call from an employee of business indicating that they had just been robbed at gun point and was able to provide officers with a description of the subjects as well as a description of the vehicle used.
Officers in the immediate area were able to locate the suspected vehicle heading north on La. Hwy. 82 near Perry and were able to initiate a felony traffic stop and arrest the subjects without incident.
Arrested were the following individuals:
Phillip McNulty, 24, of 102 Van Norman Curve Road McComb, Mississippi
Odarius Smith, 24, of 1028 Church Street Summit, Mississippi
Tanisha Marshall, 31, of 1152 Tanglewood Road Magnolia, Mississippi
Wilisa Ratliff, 20, of 905 White Oak Street Summit, Mississippi
Sheriff Couvillon also stated that McNulty and Smith have been arrested and booked on 1 ct. of Armed Robbery and 2cts. of Contributing to the Delinquency of a Juvenile, while Marshall and Ratliff were arrested and booked on 1ct. of Principle to Armed Robbery and 2cts. of Contributing to the Delinquency of a Juvenile with no bond set on any of the subjects at present time.
