Wise Women's Workout at LARC's Acadian Village

LARC's Acadian Village will offer new exercise classes for women 50 and "wiser" on Wednesday evenings in August.

The Wise Women's Workout, named by fitness instructor Cathy Creadeur, will include a warm-up, low-impact cardio workout, cool-down, fitness tip of the week, bottled water, and a healthy snack.

Ms. Creadeur, owner of A Positive Pulse LLC, is a certified personal trainer with more than 20 years of experience assisting both women and men get their bodies in shape and helping them live healthier lifestyles. She was certified as Senior Personal Trainer by the American Senior Fitness Association and as Senior Coach by Take Shape for Life by Medifast. She has worked with thousands of people in the community and has a positive, thorough approach to fitness.

"As a certified personal trainer and wise woman over 50 myself, my focus is on the total wellness and personal growth of the clients in my care," according to Ms. Creadeur. "My goal is to offer a motivating and natural experience that provides my clients with knowledge and wisdom needed to become confident, healthy, joyful, and peaceful."

LARC's Acadian Village supports healthy lifestyles and wants to offer this new venture to women as a way to promote exercise and joyful living.
The classes will be held Wednesdays in August from 5:30-6:30pm in the Stutes Building at Acadian Village. Classes are $10 each or all four for $35. Future classes are to be scheduled later this month. For more information call 337-981-2364.
