A Vacherie woman arrested last week for stealing brass plates off of graves in an Arnaudville cemetery is now accused of fighting with deputies while in the St. Landry Parish Jail.
Ericka Danos now faces two counts of battery of a correctional facility employee and four counts of resisting an officer with force or violence.
Danos allegedly stole brass plates off of graves and sold them for scrap metal. She was charged with five counts of theft and five counts of grave desecration for those alleged acts.
Danos remains in the St. Landry Parish Jail.
