1. Jazmine Jemal Jackson, 23 years of age, Address-Martin Luther King Franklin, La. was arrested on 08/07/2013 @ 7:04am
Charges: Domestic Abuse Battery
Officers were summoned to a Mallard Street address in reference to a domestic disturbance. Officers arrived to investigate and were advised by the victim/complainant that Jazmine Jemal Jackson had committed a battery on a female at the residence during an altercation. The female was observed to have injuries which were minor in nature. The subject, Jackson was arrested and transported to the Morgan City Police Department where he was booked and remains incarcerated on a $2,500.00 bond.
2. Angel Miguel, 22 years of age, Address-Roberts Drive Houma, La. was arrested on 08/07/2013 @ 9:17pm
Charges: No Drivers License, No Headlights, No Insurance
The above subject, Angel Miguel was observed operating a vehicle without headlights in the area of La. Hwy 70. The vehicle was stopped and the driver detained by officers. Officers discovered that the driver, Miguel had no drivers license nor motor vehicle insurance. She was arrested and transported to the Morgan City Police Department where she was booked and released on bond.
3. Clarence Thomas Sheets, 42 years of age, Address-Charles St. Thibodaux, La. was arrested on 08/07/2013 @ 9:29pm
Charges: Warrants: Simple Criminal Damage to Property; Disturbing the Peace; Resisting an Officer; Contempt of Court
Officers came in contact with a suspicious vehicle and its occupants in the area of Terrebone Street and Front St. Officers located the above, Clarence Sheets who was found to be wanted by the Morgan City Police Department for several outstanding warrants. Sheets was arrested and transported to the Morgan City Police Department where he was booked and incarcerated.
4. Jerald Wayne Francois, 22 years of age, Address-Everette Street Morgan City, Louisiana was arrested on 08/07/2013 @ 11:06pm
Charges: Simple Battery of a Juvenile
Officers responded to a complaint regarding a disturbance at a Cardinal Street address in regards to a battery being committed. Officers arrived and upon investigation, it was learned that the suspect, Jerald Francois was involved in an argument with a 15 year old juvenile and during the argument, had committed a battery on the juvenile. Francois was arrested and transported to the Morgan City Police Department where he was booked and remains incarcerated.
