This summer, the Children's Museum of Acadiana hosted its first Summer Mural Camp. The week of July 8, CMA's Education Director, Leah Graeff, lead children from ages five to eleven in three art projects centered on cityscapes. The camp culminated with a three day mural project in which the campers developed a concept and painted a 4'x16' mural that represented the past, present, and future cityscapes of Downtown Lafayette. The mural will be installed and exhibited on the building's facade facing Parc Sans Souci along with an outdoor art project for August Art Walk. The Children's Museum of Acadiana is located at 201 E.
