A Lafayette teen is in a Pensacola hospital after he apparently fell from a condominium balcony.
According to Orange Beach Police Chief Greg Duck, the teen was found around 10 A. M. outside the condos. WKRG/Mobile reports the body on the pavement outside the Tidewater Condominiums.
Duck says the victim's family was found sleeping inside their condo.
WEAR/Pensacola reports that CPR was administered to the teen before he was airlifted to Sacred Heart Hospital.
Duck says the teen underwent surgery. However, his current condition of the teen is unknown. Duck adds that there are no signs of foul play.
This is the second time in the last month and the third time in just over a year that a Louisiana resident has fallen from an Orange Beach balcony. Thibodeaux teen Challenge Talbot died on July 19 after he fell 16 stories. One year earlier, Caitlin Richoux of Galliano was killed when she fell eight stories.
