LAFAYETTE, La. - The 2nd Annual Ragin' Cajuns Athletic Celebration, an event to support the coaches of UL Athletics, will take place August 24th at the Cajundome Convention Center. The event, organized by business leaders in the community, is expected to draw over a thousand Cajuns supporters to salute the work the Cajuns coaches have done and will continue to do to build UL Athletics.
"We were grateful for the support for our the inaugural event last year, but the response this year has been amazing. Businesses from throughout Acadiana are stepping up to sponsor this event, buy tables and be a part of what we know is going to be a special night for our coaches," said Blaine Barrilleaux, one of the coordinators for this event.
There are still whole tables available for businesses and individual tickets are now for sale at ticketmaster.com.
