NUNU Arts and Culture Collective announces the start of NUNU YOU, an educational program that issues credits in cultural endeavor, self-expression and leisure.
Classes are grouped into three terms: fall, September-November; spring, January-March; and summer, May-July. Some meet for as few as one time, while others as many as 10 sessions.
Practice the exercise and breathing methods of Gigong; immerse yourself in the French language through the pleasures of food and social exchange; discover your inner writer; explore "slow sewing" techniques; draw and paint a landscape; carve a gourd; build a birdhouse with recylables; and on Saturdays drop off the kids for one-of-a-kind art projects.
Students of varied experience levels, ages, and backgrounds work side-by-side, exchanging ideas and techniques. NUNU YOU supports the power of focused time, which often results in new thinking and creative growth.
Adult sessions are open to students 18 years old or older, unless indicated otherwise in course description.
Class days, dates, times and locations are specified in course descriptions and printed on email confirmations. NUNU YOU class descriptions and registration info available beginning Aug. 5 at NUNU Arts and Culture Collective and on line at: www.nunucollective.org.
