St. Mary Parish Arrest Report

According to St. Mary Parish Sheriff Mark Hebert, during the last 72 hour reporting period the Sheriff's Office responded to 134 complaints and reports the following arrests:

Russell D. Allen, 43, 430 Field Street, Bayou Vista, LA was arrested on August 2, 2013 at 9:20 am on a warrant for theft. A deputy located Allen at his residence on the warrant. Allen was transported to the parish jail for booking and incarceration. The warrant stems from an investigation into the theft of a ring. He was released on a $1,000 bond.

Dakota Crawford, 21, 120 Oxford Loop, Franklin, LA was arrested on August 2, 2013 at 11:09 am on a warrant for unauthorized use of an access card. Crawford turned himself in at the St. Mary Parish Law Enforcement Center in Centerville. The warrant stems from an investigation that on April 2, 2013. The St. Mary Parish Sheriff's Office received a complaint of a vehicle burglary in which a credit card was stolen. During the investigation it was learned that the card that had been reported stolen by the complainant was used at three different locations in the Baldwin and Jeanerette areas. The unauthorized charges totaled just over $380. Crawford was released on a $500 bond.

Raymond Migues, 48, 440 Teche Road, Bayou Vista, LA was arrested on August 2, 2013 at 5:56 pm for driving while intoxicated, open alcoholic container in a motor vehicle, and careless operation. A deputy responded to a report of a two vehicle crash on Highway 182 in Bayou Vista near Field Street. Upon arrival, the deputy made contact with a driver of one of the vehicles who was identified as Migues. The deputy detected the strong odor of an alcoholic beverage on Migues' breath and person. During the investigation, the deputy located an empty liquor bottle and a half full can of beer inside the vehicle. Migues performed poorly on the field sobriety test. He later refused to take a breath test. He was transported to the parish jail for booking and incarceration. No bond is set.

Mary Griffin, 44, 761 Utah Street #11, Berwick, LA was arrested on August 2, 2013 at 11:16 pm for disturbing the peace intoxicated. A deputy patrolling the Amelia area responded to a report of a disturbance at a residence on James Street in Siracusaville. Upon arrival, the deputy learned that Griffin was causing a disturbance in the neighborhood by yelling at residents. The deputy also detected the odor of an alcoholic beverage on Griffin's breath and person. She was transported to the parish jail for booking and incarceration. Griffin was released on a $500 bond.

Telisa Kenner, 47, 911 ½ First St. Morgan City, LA was arrested on August 2, 2013 at 4:35 pm on the following charges:
Possession of cocaine with intent to distribute
Possession of drug paraphernalia
Possession of a controlled dangerous substance in the presence of a juvenile
Obstruction of justice
Detectives with the SMPSO Narcotics Division with the assistance from the Morgan City Police Department Detectives Division executed a search warrant at Kenner's residence. Kenner was located inside along with several small children. During the search, detectives located several bags of cocaine that Kenner attempted to discard. Detectives also located several items of drug paraphernalia including a digital scale and a measuring spoon. Kenner was transported to the parish jail for booking and incarceration. No bond is set.
