MORGAN CITY, La. (AP) - St. Mary Parish's public school systems plans to offer home-schooled children a free, online curriculum.
Superintendent of Superintendent Donald Aguillard tells The Daily Review that the Virtual Educational Program will provide online classes taught by certified instructors providing continuous, flexible student access.
Virtual education allows students to set their own learning pace with guidance from educational professionals and parents. Classes will integrate a series of video, demonstration and teaching segments, Aguillard says.
More information on the program is available by calling Monica Mancuso at 337-836-6049.
