GRETNA, La. (AP) - Jefferson Parish sheriff's deputies say a construction worker has died after a fall from a roof in Gretna.
Col. John Fortunato says 27-year-old Ross Breaux, of Covington, was pronounced dead at the scene Friday morning.
The sheriff's office says Breaux and a relative were making roof repairs to a business when he apparently stepped through a skylight and fell to the ground below.
It happened about 9:45 a.m.
