This fall, beginning on Tuesday, Sept. 4, Acadiana residents of all skill levels will be able to take advantage of AOC Community Media's schedule of low-cost workshops.
AOC's digital media workshops are a great place for beginners to start as well as the more experienced to learn additional skills. Topics include studio and field production, editing and directing.
"Our main goal when creating and teaching our workshops is to broaden our members' understanding of concepts they will most likely use to create content for AOC and for other outlets," Ed Bowie, AOC's executive director, said. "We hope what we introduce them to will inspire them to continue the learning process throughout their time as producers."
AOC is offering group and individual sessions in cinematography, Final Cut editing, studio production, field production, and many other fields.
