A Youngsville woman is facing charges that she harbored a sex offender in her home.
Lafayette Parish sheriff's deputies say Elaine Dupuy allowed her boyfriend, a convicted sex offender, to live in her home even though he was not registered at that address.
Deputies add that this is the second time that Dupuy's boyfriend was caught living in the house without registering. The boyfriend was arrested after the first discovery. He allegedly bonded out and returned to Dupuy's home without registering.
Dupuy is free on $10,000 bond.
