According to St. Mary Parish Sheriff Mark Hebert the Narcotics Division made the following arrests:
Rebecca Lynn Hanks, 29, 714 Gabriel St. Patterson, LA was arrested on July 30, 2013 at 3:49 pm on the following charges:
Possession of a controlled dangerous substance in the presence of a juvenile
Possession of Schedule III (Narco)
Possession of Schedule III (Suboxen) with intent to distribute
Possession of Schedule IV (Xanax) with intent to distribute,
Possession of marijuana
Possession of drug paraphernalia
Possession of Legend Drugs (Ibuprofen, Tramadol, and Robaxin) without a prescription
Detectives with the St. Mary Parish Sheriff's Office Narcotics Division patrolling Hwy. 182 in the Patterson area conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle after the driver failed to properly signal a turn onto Wise St. While speaking with the driver, identified as Hanks, detectives received consent to search the vehicle and located Xanax and Narco pills, Suboxone strips, and other pills. Three small children were riding in the vehicle with Hanks. Detectives continued the investigation at Hanks' residence. Detectives located Tramadol pills, marijuana, and items of drug paraphernalia. Hanks was transported to the parish jail for booking and incarceration. No bond is set.
Earlisa Triggs, 25, Egle St. Morgan City, LA was arrested on July 30, 2013 at 6:53 pm for possession of marijuana second offense and on warrants for violation of terms and conditions of drug court. Narcotics detectives patrolling the Morgan City area observed Triggs. Detectives had knowledge that Triggs held an active warrant for her arrest. Detectives made contact with her and subsequently placed her under arrest. Detectives located a bag of marijuana in Triggs' purse. She was then transported to the parish jail for booking and incarceration. No bond is set.
