A Carencro man is facing charges of cruelty to a juvenile after police say he whipped a 3-year-old child for pushing a sibling and urinating in his pants. According to police, they responded to a call from Women's and Children's Hospital and found a child with several lashes on his buttocks area, as well as in his private area. Detectives say the mother of the child told them he was in her boyfriend's care when he sustained the injuries. According to the arrest affidavit, 22- year old Brandon Sayrie allegedly told police he whipped the child with a belt 5-8 times the night before in the buttocks area.
