A Lafayette man is behind bars on simple rape charges. Keaven Franklin, 20, surrendered to police Monday after a warrant was issued for his arrest. According to police, the juvenile victim told investigators that Franklin had raped her at a location inside city limits. Franklin is being held on $50,000 bond.
